The efficiency of the cultivation and use of shrubs for the optimization of agroforestry systems in sparsely wooded areas

Economic development of low forest areas led to a decrease in biodiversity, degradation of woody flora, violation of soil cover and trophic links. A method of restoring natural functions is the creation of forest-reclamation complexes-systems of all required anti-erosion, pasture-reclamation and other protective plantings. The existing protective forest ecosystems dendrological nepolnocennym. Due to the increased anthropogenic load in recent years, it is necessary to review and update the range of woody plants used. In this regard optimization of forest-reclamation complexes by bushes is necessary for stabilization of low forest regions in the conditions of desertification and degradation of landscapes. The aim is to study the effectiveness of Bush cultivation and application activities to optimize degraded protective forest ecosystems. The calculated efficiency of environmental-economic indicators for measures on the cultivation and use of shrubs, which in addition to addressing environmental and social issues allows to obtain economic benefits. Generalization of the materials indicates that the bushes are adapted to adverse conditions of the steppe and semi-desert (drought, low winter temperatures). The most effective and economical methods of irrigation under nursery management of shrubs in the Volgograd region are revealed. The use of modern specialized equipment in the cultivation of shrubs can reduce by 15% the cost per unit of production. Minimum costs for irrigation and care are provided by autumn sowing of shrub seeds, when their shoots optimally use water and heat resources in the spring and plants reach the standard size faster with the effect of 115 thousand rubles / ha.
