The mystery of the destruction of the navy of the Nazi Germany in the Battle of the Atlantic. The fracture in the first half of 1943

The article discusses the nature of the fighting and the losses of the parties during the culmination period of the Battle of the Atlantic in the first half of 1943, the Author defends the view that the military and technical achievements of the Navy and Air forces of the Western allies were still very limited in their effectiveness, from the point of view of comparisonbetween a sunken submarines of the Nazi Germany and spent on the anti-submarine fighting resources. The author shows on the basis of data from the documents that the Western allies were in dire straits due to the loss of tonnage in February-March 1943, and only a decline in the activity of the German submarine fleet contributed to the rapid improvement for the Western allies of in the Atlantic.
