Derivation processes in the lexis of the Peruvian national variant of the Spanish language

The article deals with the lexical type of the territorial variability of Peruvian national variant of the Spanish language; the peculiarities of Peruvian lexis derived from the common Spanish words are studied. The prioritized means of word formation are examined. The most efficient wordbuilding instruments in the Peruvian national variant of the Spanish language are distinguished: affixation, basically suffixation; parasynthetic model and compounding. The semantic and stylistic changes in the result of word formation are analyzed; the correlation between the Peruvian derivatives and the lexical norm of the Iberian national variant of the Spanish language is showed.
