COMPLIANCE SYSTEM IN THE ORGANIZATION: ISSUES OF LEGAL LIABILITY

Compliance has recently been frequently analyzed in literature across various fields of scientific knowledge, including law, economics, and management. This article, using specific examples from domestic judicial practice, examines the impact of compliance systems on holding an organization, its director, and employees legally liable. It concludes that, under certain circumstances, the presence of a compliance system can exempt a legal entity or official from administrative liability and also influence the recovery of damages from the director for unfair or unreasonable actions.
