DIGITAL SOVEREIGNTY IN THE SYSTEM OF LEGAL SUPPORT OF STATE INDEPENDENCE OF THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION

The purpose of the study is theoretical and legal substantiation of digital sovereignty as an independent legal category in the system of national law of the Russian Federation. The methodological basis of the research is based on the doctrinal approach, systemic method and functional analysis, which made it possible to identify the place of digital sovereignty in the structure of state sovereignty and determine the mechanisms of its legal support. The results of the study are aimed at forming a conceptual understanding of digital sovereignty as a multidimensional legal structure that includes control over digital infrastructure, citizens' data and algorithmic decisions that determine social reality. In the context of rapid digital transformation and cross-border information flows, digital sovereignty is becoming a guarantee of legal autonomy and technological security of the state. The necessity of including digital sovereignty in the system of national law as an independent legal category reflecting new forms of normative subjectivity of the state in the context of civilizational shift is substantiated. The practical significance of the study lies in the possibility of using its results to improve national legislation and develop strategic documents in the field of digital security.
