PROSPECTS FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF FREIGHT ROAD TRANSPORT IN THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION

Under current circumstances, national transport companies lack the potential to successfully compete in the freight transportation market. This article aims to analyze the freight transport services market using general scientific research methods and statistical observations. The fleet of vehicles used for transport services was analyzed and classified. Data from leading rating agencies, including ASM-Holding and the National Agency for Industrial Information (NAPI), was used to write this paper. The article presents an analysis of the performance of transport companies in the freight transportation market.
