This article examines the evolution of leadership communication competencies in the context of rapid digital transformation. The authors analyze the challenges posed by the digital environment, such as information overload, the need to communicate information through multiple channels, and remote interactions. They identify competencies of the modern manager, including digital literacy, adaptive communication, emotional intelligence, team attention management, and trust-building in the digital environment. They conclude that traditional leadership communication models need to be transformed and integrated with new competencies needed to optimize interactions in the digital space. The authors also present the results of a survey of managers on the relevance of optimizing and developing the communication competencies of modern leaders in the context of digitalization.
