MODEL FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF STUDENTS' VOLITIONAL QUALITIES IN THE FRAMEWORK OF FOREIGN LANGUAGE EDUCATION IN A NON-LINGUISTIC UNIVERSITY

within the framework of this article, a model of the formation of volitional qualities of students in the framework of learning a foreign language in a non-linguistic university is considered. Attention is drawn to the role and specifics of the formation of volitional qualities in adolescence and youth, their dependence on the development of students' psychomotor abilities. Based on the age characteristics and specifics of the development of volitional qualities as a parameter of the emotional and volitional sphere of students, a model of their formation within the framework of foreign language education at a university is presented, considering four sections, work with students, their families, teaching staff, as well as a direct program for the development of these qualities in foreign language lessons, with elements of training sessions and gamification, which is associated with the need to develop psychomotor abilities as a factor in the growth of volitional qualities. The conducted experimental analysis confirms the high efficiency of the model in the development of students' volitional qualities, which is marked by both an increase in quantitative indicators and the connectivity of volitional qualities with each other, which is confirmed by a statistical analysis of the results obtained.
