BREATHING TECHNIQUES: RELEVANCE AND PROSPECTS OF APPLICATION IN PSYCHO-EMOTIONAL DISORDERS

Contemporary psychotherapeutic practice demonstrates a growing interest in non-pharmacological methods for correcting psycho-emotional states. This work is devoted to a comprehensive analysis of the theoretical foundations and practical aspects of applying respiratory biosensory psychotechnologies as an innovative direction in the field of psychological rehabilitation, based on patented developments by Russian researchers. The methodologies of cyclic breathing developed within the framework of biosensory psychology, their neurophysiological mechanisms, and potential in correcting a wide spectrum of psycho-emotional disorders are examined. Special attention is given to the conceptual foundations of layer-distributed structure of matter and its application in the practice of psychological rehabilitation of patients with various forms of psycho-emotional maladaptation. Biosensory respiratory psychotechnologies represent a striking example of successful integration of traditional knowledge about breathing with modern scientific approaches to understanding the mechanisms of psychophysiological regulation. This direction demonstrates the possibility of creating effective therapeutic methods based on activation of the body's internal resources, which is particularly relevant in the context of the growing need for safe and accessible methods of treating mental disorders.
