This article discusses the issues of studying the potentially dangerous impact of the introduction of artificial intelligence on the human psyche in the implementation of their professional functions. The results of an empirical study conducted by the author on the use of artificial intelligence technologies in the work of managers and personnel management specialists are presented. It is established that there are fears and concerns among managers of respondents about the use of artificial intelligence in their professional field of activity. A significant part of the respondents have not yet encountered artificial intelligence technologies in their work, but they are already experiencing discomfort, fears and concerns about the possibility of replacing them in the workplace, the risk of errors, etc. The approaches to further research on the considered issues are outlined.
