Employees who perform their duties in extreme conditions require increased attention from service unit psychologists. The professional and psychological aspect should consist of assessing the subject's adaptive resources, their ability to maintain effective behavior in extreme conditions for a certain period of time, and preventing destructive changes in the subject as a result of exposure to "aggressive" working conditions. In extreme conditions, it is extremely important to correctly analyze professional situations and constructively plan the upcoming system of activities. In this regard, the cognitive sphere of the personality of employees working in extreme conditions is of great importance. It is important to build a system of psychological testing of cognitive properties and personality qualities of employees. The proposed model of psychodiagnostics serves as practical recommendations for practicing psychologists in the service departments of various agencies of the Russian Federation.
