The article examines the main provisions of the philosophy of conservatism on the example of the works of E. Burke, K. Manheim, N.J. Danilevsky. Such features of the conservative worldview as traditionalism and organicism are highlighted. Traditionalism refers to the foundations of life passed down from generation to generation, on the basis of which legal laws are developed. Traditions are irrational, preserved by the whole society as a whole and determine the national mentality. They give people a sense of certainty, stability and predictability of life. Conservative philosophers seek to preserve not just certain socio-political institutions, but a certain attitude towards the world. Organismicism suggests viewing society as a living organism that develops according to its own unique laws, making each civilization unique and unrepeatable. This approach precludes the arbitrary and mechanical adoption of one culture's forms of life by another culture.
