The problem of parents' personal resources is relevant due to their important role in ensuring psychologically safe interaction with children, but its significance increases significantly during periods of global social change and special family circumstances that place increased demands for their conscious use for effective performance of social roles and overall social adaptation.
The purpose of the study is to provide a theoretical basis and structure for the sources of personal resources of parents which allow them to solve life problems in a socio-psychological environment using psychologically safe forms of interaction with their children, based on the concepts of psychological safety and socio-psychological environment.
The article presents the author's classification of sources of parents' personal resources in the context of ensuring mentally safe interaction with children, which are localized in the existential, subjective, regulatory, and communicative spheres of the individual's socio-psychological space. The criterion basis of the presented classification is the functional aspects of the parent's personal potential, which ensure social adaptation, psychological stability, and psychologically safe interaction in the parent-child dyad.
A conscious attitude towards internal resources allows parents to build relationships with children based on respect and humanistic values, as well as to respond in a timely and appropriate manner to changes in living conditions.
