DIFFERENTIATION OF FAMILY LIFE SITUATIONS IN THE CONTEXT OF INCREASING PARENTAL RESOURCES

Family life situations characterized by parents’ high level of stress from their parental role, feelings of hopelessness, and a loss of control over their own lives, highlight the issue of sufficient resources to address the challenges posed by the current life situation. The purpose of the study is to differentiate family life situations in the context of increasing parental resources. The study is based on the concept of A.N. Tatarko’s socio-psychological capital of an individual, which reflects the availability of internal resources and allows an individual to adapt to the social environment by taking an active life stance and establishing positive relationships in interaction groups. The article differentiates stressful, crisis and difficult life situations based on their causes and objectives, and identifies areas where parents can increase the quantity and quality of their resources for effective functioning in there in-groups.
