Cultivation of horticultural crops in the Volgograd region in arid zones

Volgograd Region is located in the dry steppe zone arid zone, with sharp fluctuations in winter and summer temperatures (-300C until winter. In summer, up to + 500C), which can be attributed to our area to the zone of risky agriculture. And the soil leave much to be desired only if the north of the Volgograd region has found black soil, the entire southern area, down to the Astrakhan region - a light brown soil. Only in the floodplain area are loess soils and flood plain black soil fertile enough
