The economic crisis, increased instability and uncertainty determine the formation of a lack of trust, which affects the transformation of consumer behavior patterns of the population. The results of sociological research and statistical data indicate the prevalence of refusals from expensive purchases, a decrease in demand for the services of public catering facilities, and a reduction in forms of leisure activity. The financial behavior of Russians is illustrated by the following trends: a decrease in the level of credit confidence, an ambiguous attitude towards bank deposits. The following factors can be attributed to the formation of a trust deficit in economic relations: cognitive (stereotypes, prejudices, fears); institutional (imperfection of a number of legislative norms, lack of conditions for long-term planning); global (geopolitical tensions, global economic crisis).
