WHAT IS COMPETENCE MANAGEMENT? THE BEST MODERN PRACTICES TO IMPROVE EFFICIENCY

The article reveals the concept of "competence management as a modern tool of personnel policy, which allows to achieve the business goals of the enterprise with the greatest benefit and in the shortest possible time. Considerable attention is paid in the article to a new approach in personnel management – competence management. The article discusses the key stages of this process - from the initial stage of assessing the required competencies, to specific recommendations for the implementation of this approach in the company. This problem will be of interest to specialists in the field of HR, who are striving to prepare for all the challenges of modern business, and are ready to introduce the most advanced technologies in their organization. The article contains the theoretical foundations of competence management as an important aspect of personnel management in a modern organization. The author presents strategic advantages and provides a step-by-step guide to the development of the competence management process. The characteristic features of each of the stages are highlighted and described, with justification of the importance and explanation of the practical meaning of each of them. As one of the examples of using the proposed methodology, the article considers the competence management system used today in the world-famous IBM company.
