Small business entities operating in modern conditions on the territory of the Russian Federation face a large number of threats that negatively affect the economic security of their activities, which subsequently integrates into the deep structural and systemic problems of the country's economy as a whole. Entrepreneurs need legal protection, and therefore the Russian Federation has developed a legislative framework that promotes the preservation of the legitimate interests of business entities. The article examines the main laws and regulations aimed at protecting the rights and legitimate interests of entrepreneurs, and also identifies the problems of implementing laws at the present stage
