Calculation of thawing depth and moisture content of the thawed layer of peat deposit in polygonal bogs

Formula for calculating peat deposit thawing depth is given. Values and formulae for calculating parameters included in this formula are obtained. Problems of accounting spatial variability of peat deposit moisture content are considered. Comparison is made of calculated and observed values of thawing peat deposit in polygonal bogs.
