Changes in the structure and properties of materials petrochemical equipment in the process of technological conversion and operation, reducing their service characteristics

The paper presents the main factors affecting the change of the original structure and properties of metal that significantly affect their service characteristics. Besides the methods to identify these defects, the methods of research and monitoring. Provided examples faced by employees of our company in the diagnosis of refinery, petrochemical and chemical equipment. Namely: the rejection of thick shells of hydrogen tanks; zone connecting the layers of metal on the hull of heat exchangers of the two-layer steel 16ГС + 08Х13 after operation at 390 ° C for 23 years, as well as welded joint technological pipelines made of steel 15X5M performed electrode type Э-10Х25Н13Г2 been in use for 28 years at 490°C; operational changes at high temperature metal piping operation centrifugally from the alloy НК-40 (domestic analogue 45Х25Н20С2), as well as domestic alloys 50Х20Н35С2Б, 10Х20Н33Б, 15Х25Н40М2ВТ, 50Х25Н35С2Б that operate at temperatures up to + 900 ° C under a pressure of 3.0 MPa in the pyrolysis coils production plants hydrogen and ammonia.
