Production of hard-alloy fine-grained worm mills by electroerosive processing

The article describes the process of electrical discharge machining fine-grained carbide hob used in the watch industry for gear cutting, gear mechanism wristwatches. This milling cutter has a diameter of 12 mm and a thickness of 4 mm to 16 mm, depending on the characteristics and geometry of the profile being cut teeth. The cutter is made of a sintered carbide preform mark VK8 (92% tungsten carbide and 8% Co - cobalt).
