Safety in systems of gas distribution and gas consumption

Gas consumption and gas distribution systems are a huge part in the gas sector of Russia. However, this place is no exception for the occurrence of accidents and incidents at hazardous production facilities and gas distribution and gas consumption systems. New processes are demanding higher performance of gas and, consequently, more congestion gas transportation equipment, so compliance with the requirements of industrial safety of hazardous production facilities in the industry is a very important point in ensuring industrial safety. In this paper, the basic documents regulating the safety of gas distribution networks and gas consumption were treated. The features of documents on the security of gas distribution and gas consumption networks were analyzed. According to the analyzed data it should be noted that the integrated use of existing documents on industrial safety of gas distribution networks and gas consumption, together with their gradual development is the most effective way to improve the level of industrial safety at hazardous production facilities in the industry.
