Processes of ammonification and nitrification in soil

The aim of this research was to study the process of ammonification and nitrification in the soils of the Tula region. The content of ammonium and nitrate nitrogen in the soil samples was determined, the dependence of nitrogen mineral forms on soil type and soil horizon was researched, quantified by enzymatic activity of soils of the Tula region, determined the enzymatic activity of the distribution pattern in different types of the soil horizons.
