It is shown that presence at water systems of salts of manganese at concentration from 0,001 mg/l and exerts the significant negative effect on the level of vital activity S. quadricauda determined by decrease in intensity of fluorescence of a chlorophyll of seaweed in comparison with control above. At the same time low concentration of ions of manganese (0,001 and 0,005 mg/l) don't lead to acute toxicity of the water environment.
