The article describes the performance of cardiopulmonary resuscitation by 27 graduates of the Medical Institute, majoring in Dentistry and Pharmacy, during the test of practical skills within the framework of the primary professional accreditation. With visual assessment of the cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), all the examined graduates followed all of the checklist items, and their performance of CPR was recognized as professional emergency medical treatment. According to the SimMan 3G results, the examined graduates had the average level of CPR performance at 23.7±1.3%, which corresponds to the Beginner Level. The right rate of chest compression (100-120 per minute) was seen in 64.9±28.3%, the sufficient insufflation volume – 54.9±17.4%. The results of the study show the necessity of a more serious attitude to practical classes on the provision of emergency medical treatment for critical condition patients.
