During laparoscopic operations on the esophageal-gastric junction, pneumomediastinum in combination with pneumoperitoneum inevitably develops, which exert a pathophysiological effect on hemodynamics. Changes in the main indices of hemodynamics (mean arterial pressure, heart rate, invasive mean arterial pressure, stroke volume, cardiac index, total peripheral vascular resistance) are described, a comparative analysis of these changes is made depending on the type of general anesthesia.

Keywords:cardiac achalasia, hiatal hernia, hemodynamics, pneumoperitoneum, pneumomediastinum, stroke volume, cardiac index, general peripheral vascular resistance.
