The task of signal filtering based on pre-suppression of non-singled out harmonics

Alexandrova Maria Evgenievna  (Specialist, Saint Petersburg Polytechnic University Peter the Great)

The article presents a solution of the problem of filtering a signal based on preliminary suppression of non-singled out harmonics. The possibility of concentrating the main energy of the signal spectrum in the second harmonic is proved. In this case, the energies of the first, third, fourth, fifth, sixth, seventh, eighth and ninth harmonics were reduced to negligible values. The practical significance of solving this problem lies in the fact that for filtering the second harmonics of the signals, high-Q contours are no longer needed, which makes it possible to use small-size versions of low-Q filtering of signals.

Keywords:signal filtration, circuit quality factor, inductance, capacitance, pulse, harmonics, coefficients, amplitude.
