Application azilsartan medoxomil (edarbi) in hypertension

The study involved 60 patients with arterial hypertension I-II degree, which was accepted in 12 weeks – azilsartan medoxomil. Before and after treatment were assessed indicators of body mass index, heart rate, blood pressure, lipid profile, blood glucose, index, Sokolov-Lyons, indicators of Echocardiography, ABPM, the level of anxiety, quality of life and adherence to therapy. In the course of treatment was observed a significant decrease of blood pressure, blood glucose, level of anxiety on a scale of Hamilton and the improvement of the ABPM parameters, the quality of life of patients.
