Side effects of androgenic anabolic steroids

In the article features of influence on the human body of androgenic anabolic steroids (AAS) are considered. It was found that the use of these drugs leads to the suppression of immune functions of the body, a decrease in sexual activity, negative changes in the psyche, a violation of carbohydrate and fat metabolism, a decrease in resistance to glucose. Admission ААС can become the reason of development at sportsmen of tumoral diseases. It was also noted that the refusal to receive AAS does not always help to restore the normal functioning of internal organs, respectively, the consequences of their administration are often irreversible.
