Methods of the state regulation of innovation activity

The article discusses direct and indirect methods of the state regulation of innovation activity. Comparative study was undertaken to compare them in the context of such comparison tests as targeting, control possibility, creative initiative development, expenses and effectiveness. It revealed the substantial advantage of indirect methods of innovation activity stimulation in the market economy conditions.
