Gnostic teachings of the "left hand", reformed in the XVIII century and adopted a system modeled on the knights and Masonic Orders, permit the use of the "lesser evil" in order to achieve the goals that these teachings consider a blessing. This article focuses on illuminism as particularly bright representative of Gnosticism "left hand". Illuminism considers the world a product of evil, which can and should use evil means to achieve goals. Such a doctrine set chauvinistic separation of people on the basis of initiation to the sacred teachings and relegates "outsiders" to the level of servants or slaves. Illuminism as mystical Nazism later, struggling not only with the church authorities, but also with Gnosticism "right hands" doctrine in which the state and the rights of Gnosticism is almost opposite the "left hand" of Modern Times.
