Modernization of regional retail trade in Russia

This article describes the role of retail trade as to the economy in General and for individual subjects of Russia. The status of the retail trade at the regional level and on the basis of the policy document «Strategy of development of Trade in the Russian Federation for 2011 - 2015 and for the period till 2020» assesses the prospects of its further development.
