The target program planning as a method of providing state economic policy

the article is dedicated to analysis of the target program planning method which is considered to be one of the most perspective and effective in providing state economic policy both in a separate region and in the whole country. The article contains historical excursus concerning the target program planning method and its development both in Russia and foreign countries, the major methodological principles and stages of conducting the target program planning.
