Criminalistic "general theory" as the basis for the specific criminalistic procedure for criminal investigation

The author studies the proportion of “general” and “specific” theories in criminalistics. The article also analyzes the importance of the “general” criminalistic theory in the process of criminal and legal qualification of crimes. Furthermore, the article studies whether it is necessary to include the provisions on the qualification of crimes into the system of specific criminalistic procedures and provides a list of attributes which allow to draw a line between criminal and legal components of homicide and suicide and accident.
