This article focuses on the current situation and trends of housing market development in cities and regions of the Arctic zone of the Russian Federation. It was determined that the housing market of the territory is extremely uneven on inter-regional and intra-regional level. The main part of housing and new construction is concentrated in the administrative centers of the subjects of the Russian Arctic and single-industry towns (mostly in the cities centers gas and oil production). Studies were conducted on official statistical data, reports of heads of municipalities Arctic Russian regions.
