It was described the dual nature and specificity of food marketing as a special sphere of agricultural industry; defined key factors of influence on the modern system of farm marketing, and the impact of this effect in consumer behavior and mental stereotypes in society; described the prevailing trends in consumption and perspectives of development of the global agricultural market and Russian in particular.
