Criminally-legal characteristic and qualification problems of fraud in obtaining payments

The research of this article is devoted to analysis of fraud in obtaining so-cial benefits. In order to determine the scope of this fraud we had to ana-lyze social security legislation in the Russian Federation. Number of prob-lems concerning the wording of the disposition of Art. 1592 Criminal Code were revealed. Based on a study of judicial practice and critical analysis we formulated a number of proposals for improving the liability for fraud under the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation.
