The use of insurance instruments in determining insurance premiums of leased forest areas

The article talked about the problems of implementation in practice of forest insurance institution on the state forest fund plots and leased plots. The relevance of this issue is caused by catastrophic forest fires of the last decade, which have led to enormous material and environmental losses. In addition, damage compensation of these losses goes to the owners of state forests and forest areas tenants who are obliged to carry out work on forest restoration in accordance with the Forest Code. The above article calculation on the example of the Vologda region can demonstrate how insurance forest areas which are in rent could reduce this burden by attracting additional funds of insurers from non-fiscal sphere.
