Peculiarities of formation in assets and liabilities management of commercial banks

In this article the author considered the key macroeconomic theories to explain the liquidity and, as a result, have an impact on the formation of particular assets and liabilities of commercial banks. Based on the analysis of commercial banks' activities has been identified a hierarchy of economic agents involved in the formation of assets and liabilities, which consists of: the Government, financial institutions, corporations, households. Key macroeconomic theories describing the behavior of the agents of this type were analyzed.
