The Institute of the legal profession and e-justice: challenges and new perspectives

this article examines the challenges faced by the legal profession in the modern information society associated with the wide introduction of e-justice. Including deals with the problem of legal informatization of the legal profession, its fragmented and unsystematic. Available legal measures to ensure a unified policy of the legal profession as a self-organizing civil society to match the challenges of our time – the adoption of the Concept of interaction between the legal profession and e-justice". Presents the author's view on the possible content of the concept. Also considered is the problem of protection of the rights of lawyers in the use of videoconferencing in the courts. The author emphasizes that the current development of information technologies and the transition to e-justice, on the one hand, challenges before the legal profession, as to other civil society institutions. On the other hand, they offer unprecedented opportunities for strengthening cooperation with civil society and to guarantee the protection of citizens ' rights in court. As will be fully implemented this positive potential is dependent on civil society itself.
