Assessment of migration interactions of the Russian Federation with the world countries

In the context of globalization the migration has a completely new type of character. The impact of migration on the dynamics of economic growth is a controversial issue. In this regard, the assessment of migration is especially important, taking into account not only social and economic, but also the spatial factors. The well-known method for estimating migration is to create a gravity model, and on its basis in this research the authors analyzed the factors of migration. It was proved the impact of five major factors on the strength and intensity of the migration interactions between Russia and the other countries of the world. It was identified the specificity of this kind of interaction based on differentiation and clustering of the countries by these factors.
