Application of Increased Interest Rates in Credit Legal Relations

The article covered different aspects of application of increased interest rates in the relations of consumer crediting and corporate crediting. Various approaches to the explanation of legal nature of increased interest rates have been analyzed. The author thoroughly analyzed the case law relating to the increased interest rates. Besides, the issue of possible decrease of increased interest rates by the court and the issue of the simultaneous application of the increased interest rate and penalty under credit contract have been examined.
