Analysis of the theoretical estimates related to the concept and essence of the railway infrastructure services at the present stage

As part of this work the generalization of literary sources were conducted, which allows to identify a long and extensive history of theoretical studies of the nature of the origin and development of infrastructure as a separate element of economic thought. The modern definitions of the infrastructure were considered, taking into account the specificity of rail transport. The terms and definitions which are able to describe the railway infrastructure were collected. There is a high the role of the quality of rail infrastructure services, while ensuring the transportation process.
