The genesis of the institute of state protection in Russia

The article discusses the three evolutionary period of the formation of state protection institute in Russia. The author proceeds from the fact that this evolution was progressive in nature and reflected the transformation of the protection of persons vested with governmental authority, for the protection of the personal safety of a wide range of people involved in public legal relations connected with the maintenance of law and order and the administration of justice.
