Categories of self-employed in Russia

On the basis of previous research in the field of self-employment and legislation, taking into account the critics, the author discusses the concept: self-employment; freelance; informal employment. In the article the criteria for assigning an individual to a particular group of precarious employment. To this end, the author made an analysis of the definitions and identified a number of similar and different features, given its own definition of each of the concepts. The conclusion about the possibility of related concepts and replace them with one another.Scientific novelty of the article is to identify new categories of self-employment and their analysis: formal employment; formally self-employed; informal employment; informally self-employed.
