To the question about the nature of the innovative capacity of the organization

In article on the basis of a literature review concluded that the concept of "Innovation potential", has many definitions and interpretations, the cate-gory is ambiguous. Researched and presented existing approaches to the definition of innovative potential. Presents the author's version of system-atization of the existing approaches to definition of essence of the catego-ry "Innovative potential". Proposed interpretation of innovative potential that is different from the existing ones that the author offers to consider the category from the position of use and further development of industri-al potential of the enterprise.
