Business intelligence as a modern information technology for the implementation in economic analysis of organizations’ activities

In this paper, we study the current state and prospects for the development of business intelligence as a modern information technology for the implementation of economic analysis. Based on the analysis of various opinions of researchers on the meaning of the term "business intelligence", the author's definition is formulated. The analysis of the historical development of business intelligence technology and its development in the Russian Federation, as well as existing problems and prospects for the development of this technology from the perspective of economic analysis.
