The provision of sanitary-epidemiological welfare of the population by the executive bodies of the Russian Federation in the sphere of retail trade in the North-West Federal district

This article considers basic activity directions of sanitary-epidemiological supervision of retail trade institutions in the North-West Federal district, Russian Federation. Authors reviewed a large amount of activities, including monitoring the quality of products sold via retailers and consumer protection in this area. In conclusion, author comes to the assumption that certain activity directions of Rospotrebnadzor organizations appear only because of increased public attention or state policy priority changes.
