Shopping malls: transformations of business models

The paper contains the list of stages of evolution of collective forms of organization of trade that lead to the appearance of shopping malls. It is demonstrated that the trend of evolution was the formation of spatial, architectural and organizational unity and extension of the service. Transformations in the business models of shopping malls in Russia are described. It is demonstrated that the networking approach becomes more important for shopping malls in Russia.
