Agent modeling as an aspect of regional economic policy

The concept of representation of the regional economy as an integrated evolving system of interconnected networks of interacting economic agents is described on the basis of an analysis of their behavior. On the example of agent-based modeling, it is proved that in the research methods the empirical approach should prevail, which emphasizes the inductive method of reasoning on the basis of real data, rather than the deductive method of reasoning based on abstract positions or assumptions.
